Pastoral Care

Welcome back to school for a fresh start of the school year 2020.

I hope you have had a great summer holiday, enjoyed the warm weather and spent some memorable time with your loved ones and families.

All Pastoral Care programs started in Term 1. General guideline for the PC Program as follows:

Pastoral Care (PC) after-school program/s will run as an optional school subject.

After school timetable for year 7 to 9

Finished at 6 pm

Days

The PC subject will appear on your child’s Seqta timetable but will not be included in the school reports. Normal school procedures and policies such as Behaviour Management will continue to apply during these subjects.

Attendance - PC subject class lists were finalized by the end of the 2nd week of Term. No student will be allowed to join a PC subject after this. A message will be sent to parents if a student enrolled in a PC subject is absent from the subject in any of the weeks. PC subjects will run until the last day of Terms for students without any cancellation.

The secretary and a year level coordinator will remain at school during PC subjects.

Pick up - Parents will be required to pick up their child within 5 minutes of the ending of Period 9 (6.00pm). Early pick-ups will have to be resolved with the secretary. School staff will not be able to provide any assistance regarding the transportation of any student to/from Pastoral Care subjects and activities.

Our first upcoming event will be an intercampus friendly soccer tournament to be held in our Campus for Year 7 to Year 9 Boys on the 21st of March. Year 7 Tournament will be held in Meadow Fair Campus whereas Year 8 Tournament will be at Keysborough Campus and Year 9 ones is at Sunshine Campus. As teachers we wish the best of lucks to our teams.

In addition, Term 1 Camp will be organized during Long weekend on the 7th of March for Year 7 to 9 students at Meadow Fair Campus.
